When did you last let someone truly check on you? Check On Your Girls is a Tampa Bay nonprofit creating intentional spaces where women and girls find real community, real support, and a village that shows up.
Where Every Girl & Woman Belongs
Check On Your Girls creates age-intentional programming so every girl, teen, and woman has a space designed specifically for where she is in life — and so no one has to walk alone through it.
Confidence-building, creative expression, and age-appropriate community experiences that help girls discover who they are before the world tells them who to be.
Real conversations about mental health, relationships, identity, and self-worth — in a space where teen girls are seen, heard, and equipped to navigate their hardest years.
Workshops, Check-Ins, and community for women navigating careers, motherhood, grief, purpose, and everything in between — no polish required, just honest connection.
A sensory-friendly, inclusive experience for wheelchair users, non-verbal children, and families who are often underserved — designed so every child and family feels deeply supported and seen.
Learn More ✦Who We Are
Check On Your Girls Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings women and girls together through intentional workshops, honest conversation, and the kind of community most of us have been quietly craving.
"We ensure no woman or girl has to hold it all in. Being seen and heard isn't rare here. It's the norm."
We partner with therapists, wellness professionals, and community leaders to bring real resources to the women who need them most - right here in Tampa Bay.
We support growth across all 6 pillars of life:
The problem we're solving: Most women are carrying more than they should have to carry alone. Most girls are navigating their hardest years without the community and confidence-building they deserve. We close that gap.
How We Flow
Our signature gathering. Structured, intentional, and designed to leave you feeling less alone and more equipped for life.
In-person and virtual workshops where women and young girls gather for guided reflection and shared experience. Come as you are. Leave knowing you are not alone.
We bring therapists, fitness pros, beauty and wellness experts, and community leaders into the room so you walk away with actual resources, not just inspiration.
We connect women with mental health professionals, financial educators, and wellness experts - people who show up as fellow villagers, not distant advisors.
Young girls deserve intentional environments to build confidence and grow outside of traditional school settings. Our youth programming creates exactly that.
Catch The Vibes
This is what showing up looks like. Real women. Real rooms. Real community across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties.
The Village Leaders
These women didn't just show up for the mission. They built it. Each one brings lived experience, professional expertise, and genuine love for this community.
Gina is a wife, bonus mom, and operations manager with a heart for inclusive, uplifting spaces. Check On Your Girls Inc. was born from seasons when she was struggling in silence with many of the things this mission is passionate about. She founded this organization to ensure no woman or girl has to hold it all in or have it all together. Here, being seen and heard isn't rare. It's the norm.
As COO of The Bureau Fashion Week, Mylitta integrates her philanthropic work into executive leadership, using fashion as a platform for women's social good. She brings a powerful lens of community, personal transformation, and wellness to everything she leads.
A U.S. Navy veteran, wife, mother, and servant of God, Latashia is a purpose-driven leader dedicated to service, personal growth, and making a meaningful impact in her community. She keeps our mission financially grounded and moving forward.
Arius is a mom, HR professional, and entrepreneur passionate about helping women find balance, purpose, and real community in everyday life. She keeps us organized, intentional, and moving in the right direction.
